How to log in and access your Personal Area

• Once you have received your e-mail and have been given access to the website. Please go to the website homepage. Underneath the main navigator bar at the top of the page, are the words, Login and Register. Click on the word Login and type in your username and password, then click the OK button.

• If you are logged, at the top left, under the main navigator bar, there will be some words of welcome. Good morning, your name, or Good afternoon, your name.

• On the main navigator bar on the far right, is a tab called My Area, click on it and you will see the screen below, telling you about each of the different services.
My Area

• The left hand box is called the navigation box, the typing in the main body of the screen is called the work pane.

• If you click on My Profile either in the body of the text or in the navigation panel. This will take you to your personal details page. The navigation box stays on the left hand side and in the main work pane, there are three tabs, one with your name, address and add to family.

My profile

• You can check all the information and privacy settings on this page, and add any children or wife/husband, alter address or contact details.
My Area2

• The rest of the My Area options are also controlled by you personally, via the navigation box.

Change Password allows you to change your password.

My Membership, allows you to request membership of various different church groups. Click the add sign to the left of Christ Church Roxeth, Church Life, Clusters, in order to see each cluster group.

• Christ Church Roxeth is the main database which everyone should be a member of, but each group lower down the tree/list, will have a different group leader (normally cluster leader or a staff member), who will be able to assign permission to be a member of that particular group.

• Tick the box next to the group you would like to be a member of, this will automatically fill you in, tick boxes, further up the tree/list, that is fine. (ie Seventy Two group, would also check, Cluster and Church Life).

• Then click on the update box at the bottom of the page and your request will go to the appropriate group leader, who will then e-mail you to confirm your access to that group.

• Each group will have it’s own specific area, where documents can be shared, conversations (forums) shared, rotas and events published. This area can remain private to that particular group, or have things visible to all Church members.

My Mailing Preferences, please use e-mail if you have it. There are different mailing channels specific to certain groups.

My Reminders will show when you are serving on different rotas. So if you do prayer ministry, vision, or children’s church you can see when you are needed next.

My Documents allows you to create an article, which can be seen on the website or which only members of a certain group can see.

• Click start a new document, enter a title, click Continue button. Write article, (See how to write an article sheet) click Next button.

• Select group you wish to publish your article, by clicking on plus signs and then highlighting (click on ) appropriate group. Enlarge the window (Maximise window button, top left of screen) so that you can see the Submit button at the bottom right of screen. Click Submit when you have found the right group. Then click OK button.

• Group leader will receive article and can publish it or contact you for further information.

Pre-requisite you must allow pop up menus for this site, this can be allowed by setting your web browser appropriately. E-mail Rebecca, if you find you cannot do something.
