Meet our Leadership Team..

Simon was appointed as Vicar of Christ Church early in 2016 having moved from Devon with his wife Amy (below) and two young children. He is passionate about enabling the church to embody and grow in its mission. He oversees our teaching, equipping and resourcing which includes Sunday services and midweek groups.
Andy is our interim administrator, having previously been church warden responsible for overseeing our premises (maintenance, health and safety and coordinating our assistant wardens and stewards). Having retired from London Underground in 2010 he is also a key member of our CAP Team and with his wife Gillian is very involved with Gideons International.
Paul is employed full-time as our Youth Pastor to encourage holistic growth and a whole load of fun with those aged 11-19 both at CCR and in our wider community including local secondary schools. He loves cooking curry, star wars, adventure sports and books. He is married to Harriet, the proud parents of two cats (Merry and Pippin).
Gilly is employed as our Children's Worker to work with our 4-11 year olds and loves finding creative ways for children and their families to learn about Jesus, both on Sundays and mid-week. She is also linked to our local primary schools and during the rest of the week is a teacher at Roxeth Primary School.
Rachael is employed as our Community Outreach Manager. She oversees various groups and activities including our Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Debt Centre, Jelly Tots toddler group and Language Cafe as well as working closely with our charity shop found.
Kay Marie is employed as our Worship Team Pastor to coordinate music, seeking to enable all generations to be transformed by God's presence in worship. She is passionate about helping people grow in their gifts and coordinates our music for the 10.30 and 6.30 services as well as sound and vision operations. She also teaches voice in schools.
Andrew is a church warden working closely with our vicar Simon to develop our strategy, ensuring that this this is underpinned by effective governance and finance. He works full-time for London Underground, is married with two young children and loves playing squash and watching the West Wing when he gets the time.
Maureen is responsible for enabling holistic care and personal development at each stage of life. She oversees our pastoral helper team, home communion visits and mentoring. She has lived in Harrow all her life and works in personal tutoring.
Steve is a Licensed Lay minister and is passionate about helping people explore faith, especially for the first time. He oversees Get Together (a wednesday evening social and bible study) as well as introductory courses such as the Alpha course. He works full-time as the Head of IT and facilities for New Wine Trust.
Barbara oversees all the different strands of prayer within the church, including coordinating the prayer ministry teams. She has a heart for healing prayer and intercession for individuals as well as the church. Before recent retirement she worked in nursing and higher education and she is a qualified coach and mentor.
Mark is responsible for developing our welcome as a church – if you're new and want to know more about CCR he would love to hear from you. He oversees our welcome and cafe teams, also working on our membership and accessibility. Mark is also headteacher of the King Fahad Academy in Acton and is married to Mary, also a teacher.
Amy coordinates our communications both within the church and our wider community. She oversees our website, social media, printed materials, notices and noticeboards. She also looks after her two young children and is currently taking a course in Biblical counselling.
Clive is a Licensed Lay Minister. On the Leadership Team he ensures that what we do is compliant with church governance and the law, considering how we use liturgy and developing our strategic partnerships. He is an elected member of the Church of England's General Synod. A barrister, he works full-time editing The Law Reports and The Weekly Law Reports.
Rachel advises the church on being an excellent employer as well as caring for our volunteers. She oversees HR and contracts, staff development and rewards, safeguarding and volunteer support. Rachel works full time and is married to Mark.
We are also joined by Reece Kyriacou as a placement student for his Youthwork studies at Moorlands BIble College.
