Simon was appointed as Vicar of Christ Church early in 2016 having moved from Devon with his wife Amy and two young children. He is passionate about enabling the church to embody and grow in its mission. He oversees our teaching, equipping and resourcing which includes Sunday services and midweek groups.
Alan is employed as our Operations Coordinator to help to turn the vision into reality by enabling continual effective change with the view to releasing others for Church growth. He has previously worked in international business and finance, and he and his wife Sandy have been involved in churches in the UK, Kuwait, South Africa and Uganda.
Paul is employed full-time as our Youth Pastor to encourage holistic growth and a whole load of fun with those aged 11-19 at CCR as well as overseeing our Sunday evening gathering. He loves cooking curry, star wars, adventure sports and books. He is married to Harriet, the proud parents of two cats as well as their new son born in 2018.
Temitope is employed full-time as our Children & Youth Community Worker (thanks to generous funding from the Bishop of London’s Mission Fund and Orley Farm School). He is passionate about empowering young people for transformation across our local community and beyond and has strong links with local estates, secondary schools and our neighbouring YMCA. He loves reading and long-distance running.
Andrew is a church warden working closely with our vicar Simon to develop our strategy, ensuring that this this is underpinned by effective governance and finance. He works full-time for London Underground, is married with two young children and loves playing squash and watching the West Wing when he gets the time.
Mark is a church warden seeking to enable everyone to get involved and be encouraged to discover their gifts through practical service, as well as ensuring our buildings are safe. He works full-time for Atos at the BBC and is married to Carole.
Steve is a Licensed Lay minister and is passionate about helping people explore faith, especially for the first time. He is involved in our Sunday services and a strong advocate for our midweek groups. He works full-time as the Head of IT and facilities for New Wine Trust and is married to Jane with two grown-up daughters.
Barbara oversees all the different strands of prayer within the church, including coordinating our regular prayer days, monthly prayer diary and prayer ministry teams. She has a heart for healing prayer and intercession for individuals and the church. Barbara is married to John with two adult children and is a qualified coach and mentor.
Mark is responsible for developing our welcome as a church – if you're new and want to know more about CCR he would love to hear from you. Mark is also currently overseeing our Sunday children’s work during an interim period without an employed children & families worker. Mark is Director of Education at King Fahad Academy in Acton and is married to Mary, also a teacher.
Amy is married to our vicar Simon (above) and coordinates our communications both within the church and our wider community. She oversees our website, social media, printed materials, notices and noticeboards. She looks after their two young children and is currently taking a course in Biblical counselling.
Clive is a Licensed Lay Minister. On the Leadership Team he ensures that what we do is compliant with church governance and the law, considering how we use liturgy and developing our strategic partnerships. He is an elected member of the Church of England's General Synod. A barrister, he works full-time editing The Law Reports & The Weekly Law Reports.
Elaine became Curate at Christ Church in Summer 2018, having lived many years locally in Harrow. She is working alongside Simon in delivering our Sunday services and in pastoral ministry. She is married to Ralph and enjoys caring for her grandchildren every week alongside her church responsibilities.
Ron is currently Chair of Trustees for Found. He is passionate about Kingdom transformation and developing and maintaining strong links between CCR and Found. Ron is married to Margaret with 2 adult children and 4 teenage grandchildren. He is now retired but previously worked bringing change and innovation to the management of properties for large UK organisations .
Ashok is our Treasurer and a member of the Enabling Team, ensuring good stewardship of our finances to enable the ministry and mission of the church. He is married with two teenage sons. A management consultant by profession he has been working in the oil and gas industry involved in enterprise transformation.
Teresa is employed as a shop manager at Found as well as intentionally ministering among staff, volunteers and customers to grow Found as a community of transformation. Teresa is married to Pete and they are proud parents of three adult daughters and love spending time with their grandchildren. She loves a good chat and all things vintage.
