Easter Events 2018

From Monday 26 - Saturday 31 March our doors are open for our 'Easter Encounter' art installation and prayer space. During this week Christians call 'Holy Week' we remember Jesus' final days on earth and his journey to the cross.  Individuals and school groups are invited to come and explore this Easter story in fresh and creative way.  Click here for opening times and a sneak preview...

The following events are open to all, please do join us:

29 March: Maundy Thursday

7:30 – 9:30pm Maundy Thursday Supper All welcome to come to share food and reflections on Jesus' last supper with his disciples. Please bring food to share if you can. Free tickets but booking is advised. Click here to book your tickets now.

9.30pm-12am Prayer Watch In the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus invited his disciples to watch and pray with him into the night of Maundy Thursday – you are invited to do the same.

30 March: Good Friday

10-11am All Age Good Friday Service An interactive exploration of the story of Good Friday, using our Easter Encounter installation in the church. Suitable for all ages, followed by drinks and hot cross buns.

11.30am-12.30pm Share Your Passion A public performance of the Passion story by local churches, outside South Harrow Baptist Church on Northolt Road. Organised by South Harrow Churches Together. We will also be sharing short questionnaires with members of the public, contact vicar@ccrharrow.org for more information.

2pm-3.30pm Reflections on the cross A reflective service with readings, hymns and time for silent contemplation.

31 March: Holy Saturday

9.30am-5pm Visit 'Found' our charity shop on Shaftesbury Circle for Easter treats & surprises Click here for more information

1 April: Easter Sunday

6.15am Dawn Service Join with local Anglican churches for worship as the sun comes up on Harrow School terrace, followed by breakfast at St Mary's, Harrow on the Hill.

8.30am-9.30am Holy Communion Traditional Easter service to celebrate Jesus' resurrection including hymns, readings and sermon.

10.30am-12pm All Age Easter Celebration Songs, prayers, crafts and short talk celebrating new life: suitable for all ages, including Holy Communion
