A charity shop with a difference
Found offers an eclectic mix of second hand clothes, bric a brac and many other reasonably priced treasures. Walking through the main shop to our cafe area, you will find a fantastic selection of books, and you can grab a hot chocolate or coffee as you browse. Not only that, but our friendly staff and volunteers are always available to chat and pray about anything you have got going on. We also seek to practically support those who are going through difficult times wherever we can. We offer training and work/life skills to our shop volunteers and provide work experience for local students.
Usually we host a number of regular community groups and activities at found, including a monthly knitting group, weekly pop-up church, craft and discussion group, and a ‘language cafe’ for women learning English. We also host surgeries for local councillors. Some of these activities are currently happening online, and we look forward to restarting these groups at Found as lockdown eases.
